Meet Julien
Licensed Osteopath

Julien is a highly experienced osteopath with over 25 years of clinical practice. Known for his caring and rigorous approach, he is bilingual in French and English and brings a wealth of international experience to his work in osteopathic manual therapy.

Julien began his professional career as a physical therapist in France before completing his osteopathic training in France, including studies in Aix-en-Provence and at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques in Avignon. He also worked for three years as an instructor at an osteopathic school in Avignon (IFOGA), contributing to the training of future osteopathic practitioners.

A meticulous and insightful clinician, Julien develops highly individualized treatment plans focused on identifying and addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction. He treats patients of all ages—from newborns just days old to individuals over 100 years of age—and has extensive experience adapting care to a wide range of physical and functional needs, including the care of pregnant women and newborns.

Julien treats a broad range of concerns, including chronic headaches and migraines, digestive issues, chronic back and neck pain, joint and musculoskeletal conditions, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction (both internal and external techniques), SI joint pain, and persistent or complex pain. He also treats frozen shoulder through osteopathic care and, when appropriate, collaborates with or recommends complementary support such as physiotherapy and acupuncture to optimize outcomes.

Visceral treatment, craniosacral techniques, and fascial release are integral components of Julien’s osteopathic approach, allowing him to address both structural and functional contributors to pain and dysfunction.

He has a particular interest in sports injuries and the treatment of chronic pain, helping patients recover, improve performance, and maintain long-term health.

In addition to osteopathy, Julien has advanced expertise in non-invasive Vagus Nerve Stimulation (nVNS), an innovative therapy that supports nervous system regulation and recovery. He is a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) and is dedicated to helping patients achieve better mobility, reduced pain, and overall well-being.
